DIELINE AWARDS 2025 IS A WORLDWIDE COMPETITION WITH ENTRIES ACCEPTED FROM ALL COUNTRIES. ALL ENTRIES MUST HAVE BEEN CREATED, PRODUCED, OR LAUNCHED IN RETAIL OR E-COMMERCE BETWEEN JAN 1ST, 2024 AND FEB 28TH, 2025.

  1. Plagiarism and Legal Ownership:

    • Dieline Awards will not accept works considered to be plagiarized. By entering Dieline Awards, entrant(s) assert that they are the legal copyright owners of all work(s) submitted. Dieline Awards reserves the right to reject any entry at its sole determination. Works considered to be plagiarisms, morally or ethically questionable, and/or offensive—whether intentionally or not—will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Dieline Awards.

  2. Submission Requirements:

    • All works submitted must be photographs or digital renders of packages. Concept work, unpublished prototypes, speculative, or unpublished creations are not accepted under any category except Student or Concept.

  3. Communication and Submission Process:

    • All communications between Dieline Awards and the entrant will be in English. All entries are accepted online only. A completed entry form, including formatted images, and online payment, is required for an entry to be accepted. One entry per form. All payments are processed through our online entry platform via credit card in US Dollars ($). Submission fees are non-refundable for any reason.

  4. Publication Rights:

    • By entering Dieline Awards, the entrant(s) assign the publication rights to TheDieline.com & Dieline Media, LLC for the works submitted, in whatever form: real, printed, digital, and including on the Internet. The entrant agrees to take all responsibility for any claims made against Dieline Awards, Dieline Media, LLC, and/or its affiliated companies in the event of a dispute or litigation with possible claimant(s) or others. We cannot be held responsible for any problem of reproduction and/or designation of the works.

  5. Refund Policy:

    • Admission fees are non-refundable once the application has been accepted. Should shipment of the actual work(s) be required, the entrant(s) must pay all post and shipping costs. Dieline Awards reserves the right to demand proof of the actual existence and/or publication of the works presented. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from Dieline Awards. Dieline Awards reserves the right to disqualify an entry for any reason. The decisions of the judges will be final.

  6. Designalytics Award:

    • Designalytics recognizes multiple winners, but only the grand prize winner will also receive a Dieline Award. By submitting this entry, you agree that, in the event that you are selected as a Designalytics Effectiveness Award winner, Designalytics may make information about the brand’s performance available to the general public and to the media via Designalytics’ website and other third-party channels. This might include, but is not limited to, data about the brand’s sales (e.g., “sales grew by 10% after the redesign,” “sales increased by $2 million after the redesign,” etc.), derived from third-party retail scanner data. Furthermore, Designalytics reserves the right to conduct a telephone interview with a brand representative and agency representative (if applicable) for winning projects, and to publish the content of those interviews publicly for educational and marketing purposes.

  7. Award Winner Responsibilities:

    • Dieline Awards reserves the right to request samples of the award-winning packaging. The winners agree to ship the award-winning packaging to the Dieline, properly protected, with no perishable or dangerous contents, at their own expense. That includes shipment and any taxes, duties, or fees. The shipments must specify in English: “Contest Samples – No commercial value.” Dieline Awards will not be liable for any costs or customs charges.

  8. Sample Return Policy:

    • Please note that entries and product samples will not be returned afterward. Should the entrant(s) need them back, it is the entrant’s responsibility to request collection beforehand and arrange a mutually convenient time and date at the entrant’s cost.

  9. Compliance with Laws:

    • All participants must comply with relevant local, state, and federal laws when submitting their entries.
